About: NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, is a premier Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research(CSIR), involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. This Institute is engaged in R&D of five broad areas namely (i) Agroprocessing & Natural Products, (ii) Biotechnology, (iii) Chemical Science & Technology, (iv) Materials & Minerals and (v) Process Engineering & Environmental Technology.

Educational Qualification:
Principal Scientist / Senior Principal Scientist -> Ph.D (Engineering) OR Ph.D (Science) with 3 years / 6 years experience.
Scientist -> B.Tech / M.Sc in concerned discipline with 3 years experience.
Senior Scientist -> M.E/M.Tech in concerned discipline with 3 years experience.
Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.500/- drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at-least 3 months in favour of The Director, CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. Women / SC / ST / PH / CSIR employees are exempted from the fee.
How To Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through CSIR-NIIST website on or before 24/06/2015 up to 5:30 PM. The duly signed print out of the computer generated application form (hard copy) accompanied by DD along with self attested copies of certificates, mark-sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable, should be sent in an envelope super scribed "Application for the post of_____ (Post Code_____ ) by post so as to reach THE CONTROLLER OF ADMINISTRATION, CSIR-NIIST, INDUSTRIAL ESTATE P.O, PAPPANAMCODE, THIRUVANATHAPURAM-695019, KERALA on or before 30/06/2015 up to 5:30 PM.
