Educational Qualifications:
Professor -> Ph.D. with 10 Years after Ph.D or 13 Years (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) in total out of which 7 years to be after Ph.D including 3 years at Associate Professor level.
Associate Professor -> Ph.D. with 6 Years after Ph.D or 9 Years in total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph.D and as Assistant Professor or equivalent in a reputed Institute / Industry / R&D Laboratory.
Assistant Professor -> Ph.D with 3 years after Ph.D or 6 years in total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) after obtaining M.E. / M.Tech.
Assistant Professor (On Contract) -> M. E. / M. Tech.

Educational Qualifications:
Deputy Librarian -> Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale and a consistent good academic record. Ten years experience as an Assistant Librarian out of which atleast 5 years to be in the post with GP of 7000/- or in equivalent post.
Assistant Librarian -> Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistent good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service. Atleast one year experience in University / Institute's Library.
Library Assistant -> Bachelor's Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). Atleast one year experience in University / Institute's Library.
Library Attendant -> Senior Secondary (10+2) pass or equivalent pass from a recognized board or Institute. At-least one year experience in University / Institute's Library.
Application Fee: Rs. 600/-(Rs.300/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Director, National Institute of Technology Nagaland" payable at the Chumukedima, Dimapur from any Nationalized Bank.
