National Institute of Virology (NIV) Pune invites Online Applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of MTS, Technical Assistant, Technician, Assistant, LDC and Library & Information Assistant vacancies at National Institute of Virology (Indian Council of Medical Research ICMR) and its Units at different parts of the country on All India service liability. MTS (Technical-Lab) ->
(a) Essential - Matriculation / SSC
(b) Desirable - One year DMLT, Driving License for 3 or 4 wheelers (LMV), Knowledge of computer operations.
MTS (Maintenance) ->
(a) Essential - Matriculation / SSC
(b) Desirable - ITI/NCTVT in Electrical / Wireman Trade. Driving License for 3 or 4 wheelers (LMV). Knowledge of computer
operations.
Technical Assistant (Engineering Support) ->
(a) Essential - Three years diploma in Electrical Engineering. Two years experience.
(b) Desirable - B.E. in relevant field. Experience in maintenance of Ultra low refrigeration system and HVAC system. Certificate in CAD/CAM. PLC/BMS controls of HVAC System.
Technician - C (Engineering Support) ->
(a) Essential - 10 + 2 with Science subjects. Two years Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Wireman Trade. Five Years Experience.
(b) Desirable - Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Certificate in CAD / CAM. Operation and Maintenance of
Electrical Panels, motors, Electronic controlled Laboratory Equipments, PLC. Experience in HVAC Field.
Technician B (Engineering Support) ->
(a) Essential - Matriculation / SSC. ITI or National Trading Certificate in Electrician or Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Trade issued by NCVT. Successful completion of All India Trade Test in electrician trade. Eight years experience.
(b) Desirable - Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering of AC/Refrigeration. Knowledge of computer operation preferably CAD or equivalent. Capable to maintain electrical panels / motors and industrial Electronics Control, PLC, HVAC.
Assistant ->
(a) Essential - Three years Bachelor's degree.
(b) Desirable - Bachelor's Degree preferably in Commerce. Master's degree in Commerce / Management. Undergone Cash and Accounts Training or equivalent on govt. accounting policies. Diploma in office automation / MSCIT. Undergone TALLY or other such similar accounting package training. Five years experience as a clerk. Well conversant with Central Govt. rules.
LDC ->
(a) Essential - Higher secondary (10 + 2). A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
(b) Desirable - Three years Bachelor's degree preferably in Commerce / Management. Diploma in office automation /
MSCIT. Undergone TALLY or other such similar accounting package training. Three years experience as a clerk.
Library & Information Assistant ->
(a) Essential - Bachelors degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science. Two years professional experience in a Library of scientific/higher education Institute.
(b) Desirable - Bachelor's degree preferably in Life Science or English. Master's degree in Library science. Diploma in computer application. Experience in scientific document / books / journal publication matters.
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview. Original and copies of certificates/ Testimonials will be verified and collected from the candidates who will be called for interview.
Application Fee: Rs.100 with bank commission of Rs.50 (total Rs.150) at any of the SBI branches before submitting online application. The challan payment details must be entered at the appropriate column of online application. SC/ST/PwDs and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
