Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs invites applications for appointment of Assistant Compiler on deputation basis in the Directorate of Census Operations, Kerala.

Eligibility: Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories:- (i) holding analogous post on regular basis or (ii) with three years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
Educational Qualifications:
(a) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(b) Skill test norms only on computers:
(c) English typing @ 35 words per minute. (OR) Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (lime allowed ten minutes)
(35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depressions Per Hour / 9000 Key Depressions Per Hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.)
(d) Desirable - 'O' level certificate in Computer from an Institution recognized by the Department of Information Technology, Government of India.
