Job Description:
- As a Tax Analyst your primary responsibility will be to support the UK engagement teams by preparing and reviewing tax computations for the three main areas in the UK Financial Services (FS), National Growth Markets (NGM) and Industrial, Commercial and Government (ICG).
- You will need to perform a detailed analysis of data provided by the client in the form of various financial statements and thus produce a tax computation and return for the client.
Your Client Responsibilities:
- Preparation of a draft computation and return for review.
- To work on tax computations for multiple clients- internal/external /local/international clients
- Meeting the grade on completion of initial training.
- Independently apply knowledge in the generation of a tax computation and return.
- Deliver high quality service keeping in mind the numerical accuracy, work paper documentation, presentation and completeness of the project.
- Comply with all processes.
- Build tax technical knowledge.
- Develop other related skills-communication, time management
- To take ownership of the task that is assigned.
- Requirements (Qualifications)
You will need to:
- Have good accounting knowledge
- Demonstrate excellent quantitative/numeric, analytical and problem solving skills
- Have excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly and effectively.
- Possess an eye for detail
- Possess good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to research and arrive at a recommendation.
Qualification:
- 0 to 3 years of total work experience.
- BCom, BBM, MCom, MBA, BSc, ( Mathematics / Statistics / Economics) MSc(Mathematics / Statistics )
- ICWA Inter and final, CA Inter and final is desirable
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel
