Educational Qualification:
PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/ 2400 (05 Posts) -> Graduate.
PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2000/1900 (16 Posts) -> Matriculation/ITI/Equivalent.
Age Limit: 18-25 Years of age as on 01.01.2015. (No age relaxation for any candidate shall be permitted in any circumstances.)
Sports Eligibility:
Grade Pay Rs.2800 OR Rs.2400 -> Represented the Country in Olympic Games (category 'A') (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the category 'B' Championships/events except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
Grade Pay Rs.2000 OR Rs.1900 -> Represented the Country in any of the category 'B' Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd position in any of the category 'C' Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association (OR) At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities (OR) 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Application Fee: Postal Orders of Rs.60/- for posts in Grade Pay Rs.2800/2400 and Rs.40/- for Rs.1900/2000, as the case may be. annexed with the application form. Postal Order should be drawn in favour of Northern Railway Sports Association, New Delhi which is non-refundable. SC/ST, Women, Minorities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Paris) and economically backward classes (income is less than Rs. 50,000 per annum) candidates are exempted from recruitment fee.
How To Apply: Applications on the prescribed format on a good quality plain paper of A-4 size along with the following documents :-
(1) 2 latest passport size photographs (one duly pasted on the application format) self attested.
(2) Photocopies of certificates of educational qualification, self attested.
(3) Photocopies of certificates of Sports Achievements after 01.04.2012, self attested.
(4) Photocopy of certificate of actually played in sport in field issued by concerned federation, self attested (in team event only.)
(5) Postal Order/Demand Draft, as applicable. If application fee is to be wavied off, authorized income certificates should be enclosed as per Format 'A'
(6) Other relevant document, if any.

Last date for receipt of application is 31/10/2014 at 17:00 Hours. The envelope in which application is being sent should be given caption indicating his field for example 'ATHLETICS MEN' in capital letters.

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass (Matriculation).
Sports Qualification: Candidate applying for recruitment must fulfill the following minimum Sports performance criteria:-
(a) Represented the country in any of the Category-C Championships/Events: Category C -Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior category),Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior category) ,South Asian Federation Games (senior category) [OR]
(b) At-least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championship (senior category) [OR]
(c) Represented a state or equivalent unit in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. [OR]
(d) At-least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all units and District of the state.
Selection Process: The selection procedure for short-listing of eligible candidate would involve:-
(a) Trial of sports performance.
(b) Interview-assessment of sports achievements, educational qualifications and other criteria for selection.
(c) The original education, date of birth proof and sports certificates may be shown at the time of trial/interview otherwise the candidate will not be allowed to attend the trial procedure.
(d) Candidates declared unfit during the trial by the Trial Committee shall not be considered for the next stage by the Recruitment Commttee.
How To Apply: Application on the prescribed format on a good quality plain paper of A-4 size alongwith two latest passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted officer.
