Syndicate Bank (A Govt of India Undertaking) invites Online Applications form Young Under Graduates for Banking career with admission to the 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course PGD (B&F) Course offered through Manipal University & NITTE University. After Successful completion of the course, the candidates would be offered appointment in the bank as Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I. The last date for Online Registration is 18th November 2014.

Student intake -> One batch of 200 students will be inducted in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd, Bangalore(MaGE) and one batch of 200 students will be inducted in Nitte Education International Pvt Ltd,Greater Noida(NEIPL) through this current selection exercise for 2014-15, total around 400 students.

Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduation) with minimum 60% Marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification as such recognized by Central Government.

Selection Process: Online Test, Group Discussion and Interview. Self attested photocopy of the Graduation degree/ Mark sheet indicating 'Pass' and other educational testimonials should be kept ready for submission at the time of GD/Interview.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD; Rs.500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. The fee pay through Online Mode on or before 18th Novemebr 2014. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

(2) 12-15 years overall with 5 years experience in Banking.

Dy. General Manager (Training) ->

(1) MBA, PhD in any area in HR.
(2) Minimum 20 years of Banking experience of which at least five years as Branch Head and at least five years as Faculty in the Training Department of the Bank.

Asst. General Manager (IT) ->

(1) BE / B.Tech. Additional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, Project Management Certification, MBA-IT/ Systems, will be given preference/ weightage.
(2) 10 - 12 years. The candidates should preferably have worked in the capacity of Asst. General Manager/Chief Manager in IT Division of the Bank for a minimum period of 2 years in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or in a large organization having ERP and other applications with concurrent user base of minimum 10000. Candidate worked in Iflex Platform will be preferred.

Asst. General Manager (Law) ->

(1) Post graduate/ graduate in Law. Qualification as a Company Secretary would be an added advantage.
(2) 10 - 12 years. Must have worked in the Commercial Banks/Financial Institutions etc., in Law Department/ Recovery Department and handled related works for minimum 4 years. Practice as advocate will be an added advantage.

Chief Manager (Corporate Communication) ->

(1) Degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism from a recognized University. Candidates with MBA qualification will be given preference.
(2) Candidate shall have good liaison with Press, Media, Ad   Agencies and have vision for image building of the Bank and shall have innovation to contribute for image building.   Working experience for a minimum period of 07 years in Public Sector Banks or in a leading Private Sector Banks in officer cadre/ leading Financial Institution of National level/ Public Sector Undertaking, for a minimum period of 7 years.
