Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (UUHF) Dehradun invites applications for filling up of Scientists' posts in Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The KVK is a 100% financed national project of ICAR (Govt. of India) under which one KVK for each district of the country has been approved.

About: Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (UUHF) is a State Government University established in 2011. Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has transferred the administrative control of two Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) from GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT) to UUHF.

Programme Coordinator -> Rs. 37400-67000+ GP-9000 (PB-4)
For Subject Matter Specialist/ T6 -> Rs. 15600-39100+ GP-5400 (PB-3)

Educational Qualifications:

Programme Coordinator -> Doctoral degree in Agricultural Extension with 8 years experience in the relevant field as Scientist/ Assistant Professor/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 5400/- or Rs. 6000/- or Rs. 7000/- or Rs. 8000/- having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations. Desirable - Experience in implementing Agricultural Extension Programmes.

Subject Matter Specialist(SMS)/T6 ->

Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science -> Master's degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science.
Soil Science -> Master's degree in Soil Science.

Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/-for reserved category candidates) through crossed bank draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, UUHF, Bharsar payable at Punjab National Bank, Bharsar, Branch Code No. 7699.
