Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600 - 39,100/- with Academic Grade Pay/Grade Pay of Rs 6,000/- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Professor ->
(1). Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST for reserve post or those who passed their Master's Degree prior to 19.09.91 and hold a Ph.D degree) at the Master's degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
(2). Besides fulfilling the above qualification the Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.

Librarian ->
(1). A Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of Library.
(2). Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 250/- (for General/OBC) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PwD) in favour of the Principal, College of| Vocational Studies, New Delhi, Pay at New Delhi.
