Earth Science System Organization, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM - Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India) Pune invites applications from young Post Graduates/Graduates for the posts of Deputy Manager and Senior Executive at the Institute.
About: IITM, Pune, an autonomous research organization under ESSO/MoES, fully devoted to cutting edge research in various aspects of climate science. It's activities include training to post graduates and motivate them to take up research careers in atmospheric and oceanic sciences required to improve prediction skill of weather and climate. The Institute has excellent infrastructural facilities such as High Performance Computers, modern library, workshop and other scientific support. Educational Qualifications:
Deputy Manager ->
Essential - A Master's Degree from recognized university.Operational computer knowledge. 3 years experience preferably in Govt. /PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ in the relevant area in PB-2 + GP ^4600/- or its equivalent.
Desirable - Diploma in Management from a reputed Institution. Should have working experience in dealing with Recruitment, Financial Management, Purchase and General Administration.
Senior Executive ->
Essential - A Bachelors Degree from recognized university. Basic knowledge of computer. Minimum 6/10 years experience preferably in Govt. /PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ in the relevant area in PB-1 + GP ^2800 /2400/- respectively or its equivalent.
Desirable - Post Graduation in any field.
Age Limit: 35 years as on 31/03/2014. Age Relaxation by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC and as per rules for ex-servicemen and physically handicapped persons. There is no age limit for IITM and Government employees.’
