(a) The centres for the Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination are: BONGAIGAON, BARPETA, DHUBRI, DIBRUGARH, DHEMAJI, DIPHU, GOLAGHAT, GOALPARA, HAFLONG, JORHAT, KOKRAJHAR, KARIMGANJ, MANGALDOI, MORIGAON, NAGAON,NALBARI, NORTH LAKHIMPUR, SILCHAR, SIVASAGAR, TEZPUR, TINSUKIA AND GUWAHATI.
(b) The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will be held in Guwahati only.
(c) Exact date of Preliminary & Main Examination will be notified in due course.

Exam Fee: Rs 25/- for SC, ST(P) & ST(H). For others Rs 50/- to be deposited only through e-Challan with State Bank of India.

Educational Qualifications:
Principal -> B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech. in Engg./Technology with 1st Class Degree of B.E/B.Tech. or M.E/M.Tech. level with Ph.D. Degree in Engineering. Highly desirable in post Ph.D publication and guiding Ph.D. students. Minimum of 10(Ten) years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which atleast 3(three) years shall be at the level of Professor in Engineering College of Degree level.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) -> A Candidate must pass B.E Degree in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.
Junior Engineer (Civil) -> A candidate must pass 3(three) years Diploma in Civil engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.
Selection Process: Written Test / Interview.

Guwahati-22 on written requisition addressed to the Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission stating clearly the name of the post and Department, upto 4.00 PM during office hours except holidays OR by downloading through APSC website. The last date of issue of application form by the undersigned and submission of application form duly filled up to the Commission's office is fixed on 18/01/2014.
