Essential Qualifications:
Professor ->
a) Master-x99s Degree with 55% marks in the aggregate.
b) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 publications as books (reputed publisher), and/or/research/policy papers in (indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books) journals of international repute.
c) A minimum of 12 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research in a regular faculty position not less than 7 years as Associate Professor at the University/National level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
Associate Professor ->
a) 55% of the marks, or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed at the Master-x99s Degree level (Economics / Environmental Sciences).
b) Good academic record throughout with a Ph. D degree in the concerned, i.e. Environmental Economics or Environmental Sciences or allied disciplines.
c) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or of research in a regular position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/College or Accredited Research Institution with evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 publications as books (reputed publisher) and/or research/policy papers in (indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books) journals of international repute.
Assistant Professor ->
a) Master-x99s Degree with 55% marks in the aggregate.
b) Ph.D. or published work of equivalent standard in the subject.
c) Three years teaching and/or research experience in the subject.
d) Publications in the subject.
Selection Process: The shortlisted candidates will be informed to (a) deliver a pre-hire faculty seminar (job talk), and (b) interview.
