Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Professor in Special Education -> Master's in Social Sciences with M.Ed. in Special Education(MR)/ M.Ed with DSE(MR) or equivalent qualifications and Ph.D with dissertation topic in the field of education of children with mental retardation. Five years experience in teaching professionals or personnel/research in the field of Special Education (MR).
Assistant Professor in Paediatrics -> A post graduate in Medical Degree, eg., MD in Paediatrics of a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Four years teaching and/or research experience in the subject specialty after post graduate qualification.
Assistant Administrative Officer -> Degree from a recognized University. Five years experience in establishment in supervisory capacity. Knowledge of Central Govt. Rules.
Junior Special Education Teacher -> Graduate and Diploma in Special Education (MR) or equivalent with two years experience of working with children with mental retardation. (OR) B.Ed. in Special Education (MR) (OR) BRS(MR) with specialization in Special Education. RCI registration as personnel/ professional in Special Education (MR).
LDC/Typist -> SSLC or equivalent examination. Typewriting lower (30 wpm) in English.
Craft Instructor -> Matriculation or equivalent. Diploma/Certificate in two trades from a recognized institution. 3 years experience as a craft teacher in a Government or Non-Government institution.
Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) (non-refundable) of Rs.200/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, NIMH should be submitted along with the application. Separate application should be submitted for each post. No fee is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
