Educational Qualifications:
Teacher (Primary) ->
(1) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. (OR) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) (OR) Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) [AND]
(2) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(3) Desirable - Competent to teach both in Hindi or English and medium of instruction of the School.
Laboratory Assistant ->
(1) Higher Secondary in Science or equivalent from a school or board recognized by Government of India or State Government.
(2) Desirable - Post qualification experience of (full time) at least Two Years as Laboratory Assistant from a recognized school in regular capacity. Competent to teach both in Hindi Or English.
Storekeeper ->
(1) Passed 10 + 2 from a recognized institution.
(2) Desirable - Basic knowledge of Computer application having 'O' level certificate as per Dept of Electronics Accreditation Committee Certificate (DOEACC).
Midwife ->
(1) Passed 10 + 2 OR equivalent examination any stream.
(2) Two years Auxiliary Nursing Midwife Course from recognized Institution and registered with respective Nursing Council.
(3) Must have working knowledge of computers.
(4) Desirable - Knowledge of Hindi and Local language.
LDC ->
(1) Passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(2) Skill Test Norms Only on Computers - A typing speed of thirty-five words per minute in English or thirty words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Fireman ->
(1) 10th Class Pass from a recognized school/Institution.
(2) Must have completed Basic course on elementary fire fighting from a recognized Institution.
Cook (Canteen) -> Matric Pass with One year experience in the trade.
Medical Assistant ->
(1) Non-Ex-Service Persons - Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Undergone a course of Instructions in First-aid from a recognized Institution/St. John's Ambulance. Knowledge of First-aid. Knowledge of Operation Theatre and sterilization procedure.
(2) Ex-Service Persons - Worked as Nursing Assistant in the Armed Forces after passing qualifying test of the Medical Corps. (3) Desirable - Preliminary working knowledge of computers.
Telephone Operator -> Class XII (12th Class) pass. Proficiency in handling of PBX Board and Electronics Exchanges.
Photographer -> Matriculation with Diploma in photography and Two years experience in Photography.
Durwan ->
(1) Must possess Matriculation (10th Class) pass certificate from a recognised School.
(2) Must be physically fit for the duties of Durwan as per specified standard (Height without Shoe 165 cms, Chest unexpanded 77 cms, Expanded 82 cms, Weight 45 Kgs)
(3) Desirable - Ex-serviceman. 03 years service as Home Guard / Civil Defence volunteer and training in at least
basic and refresher course in Home Guard and Civil Defence.
MTS -> Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
Pharmacist ->
(1) Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with Science Subjects from a recognized institution.
(2) Candidate should possess Certificate as registered Pharmacist having passed 2 years diploma course with three months training in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by Pharmacy Council of India.
(3) Desirable - Should have working knowledge of computers.
Ward Sahayak / Sahayika ->
(1) Must Pass Class 10 or equivalent examination of school.
(2) Knowledge of First-aid, Nursing and Ward procedure.

Application Fee: The candidate shall have to pay the application fees of Rs.50/- plus Bank service charges extra through be Collect (Online SBI fee collection portal)/ by cash through SBI challan form made available in the drop down menu. Ordnance Factory Ambarnath invites applications for engagement as apprentices for the year 2015 for providing practical training to Fresh Engineering Graduates/Diploma Holder in different fields of engineering for a period of one year.Eligible Engineering Graduates / Diploma Holders apply on the prescribed application format - apply within 15 days from the date of advertisement in Employment News (Dated 27th September 2014).

Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Apprentices ->
(a) Holding a degree in Engineering Technology granted by a statutory university or by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament, approved by AICTE.
(b) Has passed the graduateship examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to degree or
(c) Holds the qualifications which exempt him from section A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India).
Diploma Technician Apprentices -> Holds a diploma in Engineering or technology or equivalent qualification granted by a State Technical Board, or recognized by the state Govt. concerned or the Central Government.
Selection Process:
(a) The eligible candidate after scrutiny of documents will be called for verification of original documents and selection will be made on the merit list prepared and marks obtained in the Final Year examination and clearing Medical Examination as per guidelines issued by Ordnance Factory Board.
(b) Only Fresh pass out students are eligible for apprenticeship training only up to 3 years after passing their degree/diploma. Engineering Graduates or Diploma Holders / Certificate Holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall not be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act.
