Age Limit: 35 years as on 15/11/2014, Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidate and 3 years for BC Candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
Junior Scientist ->
(a) Essential - B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering with first class from recognized Institution/University. Experienced candidates in the field of digital survey (DGPS/ETS) will be preferred.
(b) Desirable - Working experience in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS.
Surveyor (Technical Assistant) ->
(a) Essential - ITI / Diploma or certificate in Surveying with first class from a recognized Institution or Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class from recognized Institution/University with relevant work experience in the the field of digital survey (DGPS/ETS).
(b) Desirable - Working experience in the field of Surveying, Remote Sensing and GIS.
Selection Process: The candidates will be screened out on the basis of minimum required qualification. The screened candidate will be called for interview and the final list will be prepared on the basis of merit list of interview. Intimation regarding conduct of interview will be sent separately to the eligible candidates. Decision of JSAC will be final in this regard.
Application Fee: General - Rs.500/-, Backward Class - Rs.300/-, ST/SC/PH - Fee Exempted. Candidates applying are required to submit the Demand Draft in favour of Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Centre, payable at Ranchi.
