Educational Qualifications:
Medical Technologist (EEG/EMG) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Neuro Electro-Physiology course recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable : One year training after acquiring diploma in Neuro Electro-Physiology course recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Govt. Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003. (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Neuro Electro-Physiology course from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (Radio Therapeutics) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Radio Therapeutics Technology DRT (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable : One year training after acquiring diploma in Radio Therapeutics Technology course DRT (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003 (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Radio Therapeutics Technology course DRT (Tech) from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (Perfusionist) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Perfusion Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable : One year training after acquiring diploma in Perfusion Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003 (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Perfusion Technology from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (Dialysis) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Dialysis Technique recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable : One year training after acquiring diploma in Dialysis Technique recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Govt. Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003 (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Dialysis Technique from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (Cath.Lab) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Cath.Lab Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable : One year training after acquiring diploma in Cath.Lab Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003 (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Cath.Lab Technology from any recognized University.
Medical Technologist (Critical Care) ->
(1) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in Critical Care Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(2) Desirable: One year training after acquiring diploma in Critical Care Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical establishment Rules, 2003 (OR) A Postgraduate diploma in Critical Care Technology from any recognized University.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons having physical disabilities for 40% and above.
Application Fee: Candidates must submit the application fee amounting to Rs. 160/- only through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online application Form. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is '0051-00-104-002-16'. The fee excepting candidates belonging to SC/ST of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under disabilities rule, 1999. Such exemption of fee is, however, not applicable to any OBC (category A or B) candidates.

Block Medical Officer of Health ->
(a) Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-ll of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.
(b) Preference will be given to Candidates who possess recognized Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management and Hospital Administration.
Medical Officer (Specialists) ->
(a) Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-ll of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.
(b) One Year's practical training as House Staff in any Govt. Hospital or other recognised Institution.
(c) Recognized Post-Graduate qualifications in respective specialty or equivalent qualifications.
Age Relaxation -> 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons having physical disabilities for 40% and above and up to a maximum of 4 years for political sufferers in certain circumstances.
