Northern Railway (Ministry of Railways, Government of India) invites application for the post Deputy Legal Adviser on Promotion/transfer on Deputation. Eligible persons apply within 60 Days from the date of advertisement (dated 20th Dec 2014).

Eligibility: Officers from the Central Government including Zonal Railways & State Govemments:-
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts; (OR) (ii) with 5 years regular service in the posts in scale of Rs.10,000- 15,200/- (now revised as Pay Band Rs.15,600-39,100 and Grade Pay 76600/-), or equivalent, and
(b) Possessing the following qualifications and experience:- (i) Degree in Lawfrom a recognised University or equivalent; (ii) 10 years' experience in the State Judicial Service or in a superior post in legal department of a State; (OR) 10 years' experience in legal affairs in the Central Government; (OR) Master's Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent with 8 years' experience in teaching or research in Law; (OR) A qualified legal practitioner for 10 years.
