Educational Qualifications:
Bursar -> Must have passed Post Graduate Degree in Public Administration (or) Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with Specialization in Finance. Experience - Eight years of experience in the relevant field.
Computer Operator -> A post graduate in Computer applications. Experience in computer Operation not less than 2 years. Diploma in Computer hardware and Networking. Knowledge in Visual Basic, Oracle & Web. Tech with 2 years Experience.
Superintendent -> Graduate (55% or B Grade). A pass in Account test for sub-ordinate officer Part-I. Typewriting Senior Grade in English & Tamil. Diploma in Computer Applications. Experience - Eight years of administrative experience in educational institutions.
Assistant -> B.Sc. (Comp. Sci) or B.C.A. or PG Dip. in Computer Applications. Typewriting Tamil & English Senior grade. Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondence and drafting reports. Knowledge in Visual Basic, Oracle & Web Technology with 2 Years Experience. Experience - Four years of administrative experience in educational institutions.
Junior Assistant -> Any Undergraduate Degree. Typewriting Tamil & English Senior grade. Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondence and drafting reports.
Office Assistant -> A Pass in +2, Bi-cycle Riding.
Library Assistant -> Graduate in Library Science. Previous experience in a College Library for not less than 3 years. Diploma in Computer Applications. Typewriting Tamil and English Junior grade.
Application Fee: The candidates shall send the application duly enclosing a demand draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11 payable at Salem for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST/PH Candidates)

Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in concerned Discipline with 55% Marks or equivalent grade of 'B' seven point scale. A Pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. If candidates hold Ph.D degree, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Application Fee: A crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.500/- for General and OBC, Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee in the form of DD in favour of “The Registrar, Periyar University” payable at Salem.
