South Central Railway (SCR) issued Employment notification for recruitment against Scouts and Guides Quota 2014-15. The last date for receipt of application is 2nd February 2015.

Educational Qualifications:
For Technician-III -> SSC / Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant Trade.
For other posts -> Matriculation or its equivalent with 50% Marks in aggregate. For candidates having higher qualification than 10th class. 50% marks in 10th class is not necessary. Typewriting proficiency of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi is essential for considering to the post of 'Junior Clerk-cum-Typist' based on vacancies.
Educational Qualifications:
a) A President Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder or a Pre-HWB trained Scout leader/ Advanced trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
b) Should have been an active member of a Scout Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past (i.e. 2011-12,2012-13 and 2013-14) and should continue to be active.
c) Should have attended at least one event at national level and one or two events at state level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at Unit/district level.
Selection Process: Written Test (50 Marks), Scouts & Guides Qualifications (35 Marks), Personality Test / Interview (15 Marks). The Written Test and Interview will be conducted at Secunderabad / Hyderabad.
Application Fee: A Non-Refundable fee of Rs.100/- (General / OBC) to be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) (OR) Crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of 'FA & CAO, South Central Railway' payable at Secunderabad / Hyderabad. No fee for SC/ST, Minorities, Economically Backward Classes, Women Candidates.
How To Apply: The filled in application form along with its enclosures should be sent by ordinary post/ Registered Post in a cover addressed to "The Assistant Personnel Officer/Rectt. & HQ Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, 4th floor, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad - 500 071'. On the envelope it should be clearly written in bold capital letters 'APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT IN GROUP C POST AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA -EMPLOYMENT NOTICE No. SCR/P-HQ/128/S&G/2014-15'.
