Responsibilities:
- Implement automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Work directly with test architecture and associated infrastructure pieces to support the quality engineering methodology, process, and procedures
- Work with testing and automation tools
- Analyze product source code and propose appropriate test automation for the products
- Work directly with other Storage Automation team members and developers
- Participate in and contribute to weekly team meetings
- Participate in product reviews with leadership
- Provide an accurate and timely status of automated testing efforts and quality statistics to the product leadership team
Required skills:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or computer science
- Experience in programming languages like Python, Perl, Java, and C
- Domain expertise with storage-related technologies including block level storage and file systems is a plus
- Experience with continuous integration and automation frameworks is highly preferred
- Understanding of test-driven development or Agile methodologies is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
