Educational Qualifications:
JBT ->
(1) Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University with 40% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks at 10+2 level. Diploma in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration recognized by NCTE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR)
(2) JBT Certificate/Diploma of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50 % marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Nursery Teachers ->
(1) Senior Sec. School Certificate (10 + 2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma or certificate in NTT or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by NCTE of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks. (OR)
(2) Senior Sec. School Certificate (10 + 2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate and NTT certificate/Diploma of not less than two years duration with at least 50% marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.
Selection Process:
(1) Two objective type tests of 100 Marks each will be conducted. Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in two tests. Qualifying marks for each test will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates. No interview will be conducted. There will be no negative marking.
(2) Written test consisting of Multiple choice questions will be conducted as under:-
