Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICR - A Unit of CSIR) invites Online Applications for recruitment of Assistants for filling up Seven (07) Vacancies. The last date for submission of online application is 31st December 2014.

Qualifications:
(1) For Assistant (General / Stores & Purchase) Gr.III -> 10+2/XII or its equivalent and a computer typing speed of 35* words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
(2) For Assistant (Finance & Accounts) Gr.III -> 10+2/XII or its equivalent with Commerce as one of the subjects and a computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. [35 words per minute / 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.]
(3) Desirable - Skill in operation of MS Office.
Selection Process:
(1) Computer Speed Test
(2) Candidates qualifying the computer speed test will be called for a Multiple Choice Examination in General Aptitude and General English.
(3) Candidates will be called for an interview on the basis of their performance in the General Aptitude test and General English.
(4) Final results will be declared on the basis of the performance in both the written test and the interview.
Application Fee: Bank Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Director, IICB payable at Kolkata. The fee is exempted for SC, ST, PH and Female Candidates.

Educational Qualifications:
Research Associate -> Ph.D in Biochemistry. Candidates having Biochemistry in M. Sc. will be preferred.
Project Fellow -> M.Sc in Biology with at least 55% marks.
Technician -> SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or national / state trade certificate in Computer Science.
Technical Assistant –> 10+2 with Science subjects followed by 1st Class Diploma in Computer Science of 3 years full time duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2 if applicable) or its equivalent.
