Educational Qualifications:
Professors -> Post Graduate Qualifications (Eg: Master's Degree) in the Discipline or allied subjects. A Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/institute. 14 years' teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
Assistant Professors -> Post Graduate Qualifications (Eg: Master's Degree) in the Discipline or allied Subjects. A Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/institute. 3 years' teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
Application Fee: The fee (Rs.250/- for SC/ST; Rs.500/- for Others) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at SBI, JIPMER, Pondicherry.
