Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Computational Biology (CB) Research Posts ->
Essential – M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D (or other suitable qualification) in discipline related to bioinformatics, computational biology, computer application (or equivalent)/ 'Advance Post-Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics'. Proficiency in programming languages (such as Perl, C++) and/or statistics (proficient in R for example) is compulsory.
Desirable - Experience in the field of genomics e.g. microarray analysis, NGS, genome annotation, database development and management, software development, systems and network biology (or related fields) will be preferred.

Plant Signaling and Defense Regulation (PSD) Research Posts ->
Essential - MSc/B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D (or suitable qualification) in discipline related to Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Genetics, Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, Plant Biochemistry, Plant Science, Botany or Agriculture with major in any area mentioned above (or equivalent) with sound knowledge of plant signaling networks.
Desirable - Candidates with experience in the area of genetic engineering, tissue culture, plant genomics, plant defense, molecular plant pathology, molecular plant defenses, analytical and plant biochemistry, proteomics, metabolomics, or related discipline will be preferred. Knowledge of statistics is desirable. Experience on wheat system and/or phytohormone signaling will be an added advantage.

Eligibility:
(1) 60% or higher marks in Masters in Earth Sciences/Geology/Geological Sciences with Mathematics till class 12 level.
(2) Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level, and two of these subjects at the Bachelor level.
(3) Eligibility in UGC/CSIR NET-LS, GATE, INSPIRE or equivalent.
(4) Experience in Fieldwork.
(5) Prior experience in Structural Geology - related work.
