South Central Railway issued Employment Notification for Recruitment against Sports quota against Open Advertisement for the year 2014-15. Prescribed format of applications invited from eligible Sports Persons for filling up of 21 vacancies in Group 'C' and 40 vacancies in erstwhile Group D categories under Sports quota against Open Advertisement for the year 2014-15 over South Central Railway. The last date for submission of application is 9th December 2014.

Educational Qualifications:
Group C -> (a) 10th class pass or above for those candidates applying for the posts with Grade Pay Rs.1900/2000/-. (b) Graduation from any recognized University for those candidates applying for the post with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-/2400/-.
Group D -> For Post in PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- - SSC or 8th passed (for outstanding sportspersons).
Minimum Sports Qualifications:
GP Rs.2800 (OR) Rs.2400 -> Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category-A) (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-B Championship/events, except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
GP Rs.2000 (OR) Rs.1900 -> Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/ events (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd Position In Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR) 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
GP Rs.1800/- -> Represents of the country in any of the Category of Championships / Events (OR) At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) (OR) Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon / Cross Country in Senior / Youth / Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.
Selection Process: The Selection is based on total marks obtained by the candidates. The distribution of marks is as under:-

Application Fee: Rs.100/- should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of 'Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad for the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Managers of respective divlslons for the divisional posts'. No fee for SC/ST Community, All Category Women, Minority / Economically Backward Classes candidates.
How To Apply:
(i) Application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in either English or in Hindi.
(ii) Application should be on a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only. News paper cutting should not be used as an application.
(iii) A recent passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application.
(iv) The candidate should also attach two recent passport size colour photographs (same as the one affixed on the application form) and it should be clipped along with the application form.
(v) The candidate should also submit two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 23 cms x 10 cms.) along with his/her application.
(vi) Serving employee should apply through proper channel.

(b) For recruitment In Group 'D' posts against Divisional quota: The candidates desirous to apply to Group D' posts (against Divisional quota) should send their applications to the respective Senior Divisional Personnel Officer of the division to which they i desire to apply by POST (Business/Registered).
